A new drink, product, campaign or advert aimed at a young male audience for Bacardi, demonstrating the quality and luxury of the brand as well as to target a new younger audience. The key words I got from the brief were; “masculine”, “authentic” and “quality”. The concept I ran with was mainly based on masculinity and quality. What is more masculine than drinking a spirit neat from a manly, weighted glass? The colour scheme is based on the logo, reinforcing the brand values.
This concept is all about re-inventing the Disney fairy tales for adults, with the traditionally darker stories. Aiming Disney at a new audience and allowing people to reconnect to their childhood favourites. Bringing a modern twist to leather bound using textured paper and debossed covers. Each textured paper linked to the book allowing you to get a literal feel for the story before you read it. I have not included the original logo but the adult signature of Walt Disney to give the book or more grown up and mature look, as to emphasis that this is an adult’s book.
